Monitoring tasks

Each task run generates detailed logs and component metrics to help you monitor and analyze your tasks as often as you need.

In the following examples, the API requests are implemented in Talend API Tester for demonstration purposes.

Be aware that there may be a delay of approximately 30 seconds between the completion of a task and the availability of the corresponding log file for download. To ensure the completeness of your log, factor in this delay while designing your automated log retrieval system.

The approach demonstrated in these examples is optimized for periodic analysis of your task performance. If you need to monitor runs of a specific task in real time, It is recommended to activate the following notifications about that task:

1. Task run: Success
2. Task run: Rejected rows
3. Task run: Failed
